Comfort
The S&S Hybrid mattress is full of features designed to deliver on the promise of a comfortable, rejuvenating sleep. The comfort layers of this mattress are comprised of layers of high-quality memory foam, with additional zoned lumbar support foam within the transition layers of the mattress. Finally, a durable system of over 1000+ pocket coils rounds out the mattress, providing it with improved support for stomach and back sleepers.
Overall, I found that this mattress provided the perfect “goldilocks” level of comfort and firmness, where it wasn’t too firm nor too soft. I didn’t feel any residual pain in my hips and spine after sleeping on the S&S Hybrid mattress for an extended period. Simply put, this mattress provided me with a great sleep, and I felt the benefits of the improved sleep throughout my day to day!

Motion Transfer
If you share your mattress with a partner or a pet, you probably aren’t a stranger to waking up at their every toss and turn. This is what we refer to as motion transfer, and it’s a concern for many of my clients. If this sounds like you, it is important to select a mattress with low motion transfer to minimize interruptions during your sleep.
With the comfort and transition layers providing a nice buffer of comfort, the S&S Hybrid mattress provided effective motion absorption, but perhaps not quite as good as all-foam mattresses. Unless you’re sleeping with someone who’s practicing gymnastics on your bed at night, you’re not likely to feel any motion transfer while you sleep. I know I didn’t!
Breathability
Being a hybrid mattress, the S&S Hybrid possesses optimal breathability and cooling when compared to mattresses made completely of foam. Additionally, the S&S Hybrid mattress is made with a cooling, antimicrobial cover that remains cool-to-the-touch when you sleep.
I can tend to be a hot sleeper at times, but sleeping on this mattress helped me to stay cool all night long.
