About Hush Iced Bamboo Cooling Sheets
These sheets are by far the best cooling sheets Canada has to offer. Made with viscose bamboo, the soft, breathable fabric is fabulous at wicking away heat and keeping an optimum cooling temperature. They are also antibacterial and anti-piling. I noticed they securely stay in place on each corner, which is a plus. These sheets are ideal for hot sleepers and hot summers.

Other Bed Sheets We Tested

Although not the highest ranking, here are a few honourable mentions for bedding that might spark your interest.

Frette Classic Sheet Set

Price Range
Starting at $500
Material
Cotton
Pros
  • Soft, luxurious feel
  • Embroidered borders for an elegant look
Cons
  • Far more expensive than similar products in the market
  • Colour choices are limited
  • Needs more care after washing
About Frette Classic Sheet Set
What is unique about the Frette Classic Sheet Set is the embroidered borders on the top and pillowcases. The material feels lush and soft, and has a good cooling effect. Due to its distinct look, it might need folding and ironing more often than most other sheets.

The Company Store Premium Smooth Supima® Cotton Wrinkle-Free Sateen Bed Sheet Set

Price Range
Starting at $189
Material
Cotton
Pros
  • Good selection of sizes and colours
  • Can be personalized
Cons
  • May need ironing
  • May snag after a few washes
About The Company Store Premium Smooth Supima® Cotton Wrinkle-Free Sateen Bed Sheet Set
If you’re looking for a versatile sheet set with personalization options, this could be a great choice for you. It is made with percale cotton to ensure breathability and softness. Although they provide a range of colours and size options, these sheets look quite ordinary and dull compared to similar options in the market after a few washes. They require extra care such as ironing after washing.

Parachute Heirloom TENCEL™ Linen Sheet Set

Price Range
Starting at $489
Material
Tencel Lyocell and linen
Pros
  • Sustainable materials
  • Good breathability
Cons
  • Lacks the range of sizes and colours
  • More expensive than similar products in the market
  • Requires extra care
About Parachute Heirloom TENCEL™ Linen Sheet Set
For those who like to experiment different sleeping products, this sheet set is a good addition as it is made of TENCEL™ Lyocell blended with linen. The material is compostable and biodegradable, so it is a good investment to save the Earth while enjoying its breathability. However, as the colour and size options are quite limited and require extra care, the price for this set feels extremely high.

Brooklinen Washed Linen Core Sheet Set

Price Range
Starting at $259
Material
Flax Linen
Pros
  • Lightweight, cool fabric
  • Wide range of colours and patterns
  • Easy to use with “long” and “short” tags on fitted sheet
Cons
  • Excessive pilling
  • Not as soft as other linen sheets on the market
  • Becomes thinner with each wash
About Brooklinen Washed Linen Core Sheet Set
If you prefer linen sheets, you can invest in this Brooklinen sheet set that is fairly priced and comes with a range of colours and patterns. However, I found that these sheets wear thin and produce a large amount of lint with each wash. I also felt the sheets were quite scratchy and not as soft as advertised.

L.L.Bean Premium Egyptian Percale Sheets

Price Range
Starting at $355
Material
Egyptian Percale Cotton
Pros
  • Durable material
  • Good range of colours
Cons
  • More expensive than similar bedding sets on the market
  • Fabric wears thin with time
  • Does not stay in place
About L.L.Bean Premium Egyptian Percale Sheets
L.L.Bean has done well with their Egyptian percale cotton fabric to make these sheets breathable and moisture wicking. They have a good range of soft, minimal colours. Regardless of the pros, these sheets feel heavily overpriced to us. The fabric also wore thin with each wash during testing and moved when sleeping. Although it is a different set to try out, I would not suggest these to those who are looking for something more durable.

Benji Sheets Set

Price Range
Starting at $100
Material
Microfibre
Pros
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Good range of patterns and colours
Cons
  • Microfiber is not as comfortable as other materials
  • Lacks breathability
  • Starts pilling after a few washes
About Benji Sheets Set
Benji sheets can be a hit or a miss for sleepers looking for cooling, breathable comfort. The 1500 thread count makes them extra airy, and the material is wrinkle-free. However, the microfiber is not as soft as other fabrics in the market such as cotton and linen. I have discovered they tend to stain and pill easily, so I do not think these are long-lasting and durable.

Price Range
Starting at $455
Material
Viscose Bamboo
Pros
  • Soft and cozy
  • Extensive range of colours with seasonal/limited edition options
Cons
  • More expensive than similar products in the market
  • Requires a careful wash and dry process
About
Cozy Earth’s viscose bamboo sheets are quite breathable, soft to the touch, and wicks away heat and moisture. For hot sleepers, it is a good recommendation. However, I cannot justify its pros to the insanely expensive price point. The colour range is nice, but they start fading after a few washes. The refunds and returns can get irritating and difficult, so I would suggest you to do your due diligence before investing in these sheets.
