About Hush
Hush was founded in 2017 by two founders who launched their first product — a weighted blanket — through a Kickstarter campaign that became one of the ten most successful crowdfunding campaigns in Canadian history. The pair went on to appear on CBC's Dragons' Den in 2019, where their pitch earned the season's "Most Epic Pitch" title and sparked a bidding war among the show's investors. From there, Hush expanded well beyond its original blanket into pillows, sheets, and eventually bed-in-a-box mattresses. In late 2021, Sleep Country Canada acquired a majority stake in Hush, giving the brand additional resources to keep growing while its founders remained at the helm.
